Insurance & Payment Information
Insurance Coverage for Therapy
We are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Full payment is expected at the time of your therapy appointment. Many clients find that their insurance still covers therapy sessions—either fully or partially—when seeing an out-of-network mental health provider. It can also be helpful to use funds from a flexible spending account, if you have one, to cover all or part of the cost of sessions.
Upon payment, we'll provide you with a detailed superbill containing all necessary information to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Verify Your Out-of-Network Mental Health Benefits
To understand your coverage for trauma therapy, call the member services number on your insurance card and ask:
Therapy is a big commitment, emotionally and financially. Our psychotherapy rates vary based on the clinician's licensure level and years of experience specializing in treatment. During your initial phone consultation, we'll discuss fees openly so you can make an informed decision about your care.
Convenient Payment Options
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept:
Session Frequency and Cancellation Policy for Therapy Sessions
Consistent weekly therapy appointments are essential for making progress towards your goals in therapy. While it can be tempting to schedule sessions every other week, it is strongly encouraged that sessions are held weekly, or progress can stall and feel slow. Please talk with your therapist if you are concerned about session frequency. We understand that therapy can feel challenging, and some weeks it may seem easier to skip your session. If you're feeling this way, please reach out—we can work through these concerns together.
24-Hour Cancellation Notice Required: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments will be charged the full session fee. Please note that insurance companies do not cover missed therapy sessions.
We're here to support your healing journey and want to make the financial aspects of therapy as clear and manageable as possible.
