Do You Feel Like You're Too Much—or Not Enough?

Perhaps you often feel overwhelmed by emotion—or you struggle to feel anything at all. You may constantly feel the need to please others or feel like there’s no room for error. Maybe you fear being “too much” for others, and yet never feel like you're enough, no matter what you do. These are common experiences for individuals who have lived through relational trauma, and you're not alone. If any of this resonates with you, there is a reason for what you feel, and it is valid!

Specializing in Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression

I’m a psychotherapist who specializes in trauma therapy, with a particular focus on helping clients heal from emotional, physical, and sexual trauma rooted in relationships. I work with adults and adolescents who are navigating the effects of complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and chronic stress, using a warm, collaborative, and body-based approach.

What Is Sensorimotor Psychotherapy?

As a Level I trained Sensorimotor Psychotherapist, I incorporate the body’s innate wisdom into the therapeutic process. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a somatic, evidence-based approach that supports deeper healing by working with how trauma is stored in the nervous system and body—not just in our thoughts and feelings. Clients who have struggled for years with negative thought patterns, emotional numbness, or overwhelming anxiety often find new relief through this powerful, embodied method.

Not Sure If You’ve Experienced Trauma?

You may not be sure if what you've experienced qualifies as trauma. You may feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of why you feel the way you do. Therapy offers a space to gently explore your history and its impact on your present life, helping you find clarity, self-compassion, and a sense of internal steadiness.

A Safe, Collaborative Approach to Healing

In our work together, I aim to create a space that feels emotionally safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering. I believe therapy works best when it honors your pace, your story, and your intuition. You are in the driver’s seat, and I’m here as a compassionate, experienced guide to walk alongside you.

A Bit About Me

When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me spending time with family and friends, riding horses, practicing yoga, exploring the outdoors, and rooting for the Nationals—go Nats!
