The short version
We collect very little. We use it to answer you and to keep this site working. We don't sell it. We don't share it for advertising.

What we collect

  • Contact form and email. Your name, your email, and whatever you write to us.

  • Site analytics. Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics records anonymous visit data, like which pages people view and what device they use. It may use cookies.

Please don't share clinical details here
Our contact form and regular email aren't the right place for private health information. Please keep messages to the basics, like your name and how to reach you. To talk about what's going on for you, call us at (703)592-4243 and leave a confidential voicemail, or use our HIPAA-compliant client portal, Simple Practice, once you're a client.

How we use what you send
We use it to reply to you, schedule your consultation, and send the emails you asked for. That's it.

Who else sees it
Only the tools that run this site: Squarespace, scheduling tool, Gmail, and Google Analytics. Each has its own privacy policy. We don't sell your information. We don't use ad pixels or ad-tracking tools on this site. 

Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. Ours help the site run and help us see general traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.

Your choices
You can ask us to delete what you've sent us. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time with the link in each one. Write to brittany@harmonypsychotherapyllc.com and we'll take care of it.

Age
This site is meant for adults and teens 14 (the age you can legally seek therapy independently in Virginia) and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
